Once the download is complete Run the Virtual Tour Software.
The Virtual Tour Software offers an incredibly simple, step by step, process for unwrapping the camera pictures into usable images.
STEP 1
Click the Browse button and locate the test_image.jpg file from your hard disk. (Download the picture from the link above). This is exactly the same as an image your camera will take when using the Lens.) Then Click NEXT.
STEP 2
The Image Centre will enable you to quickly and simply crop the image to remove the black spot in the centre and the black surround around the outside of the image. The Yellow guidelines will show you exactly where on the image that the crops will take place. Clicking your left mouse button on the small box in the centre of the grid lines and holding down, will allow you to move around the entire grid.
Clicking your left mouse button on the small boxes on the circumference of the grid circles and holding down, will enable you to make the cropping circles smaller or larger.
The goal you're looking to achieve is simply to remove the black areas in the middle and around the outside but don't worry too much about it being millimetre perfect. Have a play around because you can always just start again if you aren't happy with the result. Then Click NEXT.
STEP 3
Adjust the contrasts and brightness of the image here but the automatic settings are fine and you really don't need to do anything. Would recommend just clicking NEXT.
STEP 4
You can Sharpen the Image here but again we would recommend just using the automatic settings.
STEP 5
This is the Final Step and you're done un-wrapping.
Select the folder you want to save the images to using the Browse button
Type a name for the image.
Tick the boxes for JPG and Save Thumbnail.
Untick the boxes for QTVR and Write HTML file.
Click NEXT.
That's it, you're done un-wrapping !
Now simply go to our Publishing page, browse to find the images you have saved and upload them.
All the uploading then takes place automatically and you are emailed with a unique code for that property with a hyper link button.
Upload that to the appropriate location on your site and that's it, you're finished.
