- Use the HDR Software we recommend combined with an Auto Exposure Bracketing on your camera. This will give you the best possible shots every time.
- Always take the photo from as close to the centre of the room as possible
- Always keep the centre head of the tripod at it’s lowest level and extend the legs of the tripod fully. This will in most cases offer you the best height to be taking the tours from.
- When taking tours of Bathrooms reduce the tripod legs to half their normal height with only one of the two parts extended. Most of the things you see in a bathroom are between knee and hip height and this will give you the best view.
- When taking tours of Bedrooms where the bed is in the centre of the room (this is in most cases with a double bed) reduce the legs on the tripod to their completely un-extended level and place the equipment on the end of the bed. Adjust the spirit level by simply applying pressure to the tripod rather than adjusting the camera or the lens.
- If taking an exterior photo on a cloudy or dull day, use an over exposed image to make the property look brighter and sunnier.
- If using Auto Exposure Bracketing make sure that you wait a couple of seconds before entering the room after you hear the 3rd shot being taken. Because this is an over exposed image the shutter may well remain open for a few seconds after the shot is taken.
