1st Time Set Up for the Photowarp software

  1. Insert the Photowarp Software CD
  2. The Setup Assistant will open. Click Next
  3. Enter the Registration Key which can be found on the inside of the CD case. Click Next.
  4. Select “360 One VR M2” from the drop down list
  5. Select the Mounting Kit for your camera, if applicable Select the Mirror Distance (This will be the Manual Focus length you have set up for your camera). Click Next.
  6. Complete your details on the Registration form (leave “State/Province” box blank). Click Next.
  7. Confirm Info is correct and click “Send Registration”
  8. You can now register to use the Photowarp Forum if you wish or simply “Skip” this stage.
  9. The initial Set Up is now complete and Photowarp will be Open.
  10. Select “Format” from the main menu headings and then “Add Fomat” and select “PT Viewer” from the list. A PT Viewer logo will have appeared in the white box at the bottom of the window. Next to it is a QTVR Cylinder logo. Click once on this and press the Delete button on your keyboard.
  11. Select “Source” from the main menu headings and then “Show List” An additional window will appear on the right of the screen
  12. Again select “Source” from the main headings and then “Show Settings” A new menu will appear on the left of the Image area Pan should be set to 0 Tilt should be set to 0 FOV should be set to 100
  13. Open the Folder where you have saved the images. If you have used the HDR software recommended these will be within the Photomatix Results file. Click on the image, then drag and drop it into the image viewer in Photowarp. The image will appear in the viewer and the name will appear in the window on the right. Continue this process until all the images you wish to Unwarp appear in the list on the right. You can also hold down the CTRL button and click on all the images, which will enable you to drag them all across at once.
  14. It doesn't really matter which image appears in the Viewer as long as all the images were taken using the same camera settings because once the set up has been complete all the images are going to be unwarped at once automatically. Click on the larger blue circle in the centre of the image and make sure it is centralised and covering the black part of the image. Click on the outer ring of the image and adjust inwards and outwards until you have the correct size. Using the blue dot, which appears around the centre of the image, you can rotate the blue radius which signifies the starting point of the tour when finished. Be careful not to move the blue dot off the centre line as this will adjust the Tilt. This enables you to ensure that your tour starts at the key part of the picture. Please remember that the first setting of 0 will be the default setting and this can be changed for each image individually by simply selecting the image from the list on the right.
  15. Once you are happy with your settings for each image click the “Unwarp” button.
  16. “No Web Script In Job” box may appear. Just click “Continue Without”.
  17. Choose a destination folder for the Unwarped images. We would suggest as a new subfolder within the folder the images were taken from called Final. The finished unwarped images can be easily recognised by the _pt suffix at the end.
  18. Finally, select “File” from the main menu and then “Save Job Template” Enter file name as “PT Viewer”
