| 1st Time Set Up to be Recorded to the C1 Memory |

- Mount camera on tripod, securely, with lens pointing vertically.
- Press Ring Release Button on front of camera and unscrew lens ring. Replace with the thread adapter.
- Attach any necessary Step Rings to the Lens (Do not overtighten.)
- Expose Lens by pulling down the cover
- Attach Lens to the camera (Do not overtighten.)
- Adjust tripod until Optic is vertical (refer to bubble level on top of Optic).
- Turn Camera Power on.
- Turn Mode Dial to "Av" (Aperture Priority)
- ---Press "MENU". Set "MF-Point Zoom" to "On". Set “Safety Shift” to “Off” Press "MENU" again.
- ---Press "FUNC". Then use Omni Selector to: Set ISO to "100" Set Effect to “Off” Set Quality to "Superfine" Set Image Size to "L" 3072x2304. Press "FUNC" again.
- Rotate Main Dial near the shutter button to set Aperture (on bottom of screen) to F8.0.
- Press MF-Manual Focus Switch, and rotate Main dial until focus is set to correct length of approx. 16cm. (the bar graph should be 2/3 of the way between the ’10 and '20').
- Adjust Zoom until the circular image of mirror just fills the screen from top to bottom: (NOTE: Depending on your camera's threads, the image may be slightly off-center. This is normal. A trick is to use a thin piece of paper or tape as a shim in the adapter gap to align to center.)
- Adjust Focus again, until both center and outside of mirror are sharply in focus.
- Press Flash Button to turn flash off.
- Press Timer Button on top of camera to turn timer on to 10 second delay
- Press the shutter release. You have 10 seconds to hide!
- Review the image. Zoom in to see that both the center and outside of the mirror are in focus. If not, adjust the Manual Focus and/or Aperture to obtain uniform focus.
- Once you have the perfect settings, press "MENU", select "Save Settings" and press Set. Select C1 as the Destination and press Set Press Menu Now whenever shooting virtual tours, simply set the Mode Dial to 'C1' and the camera will be ready to shoot ! Nothing more to do and no need to complete this process more than once.

For the Best Possible Results we would strongly recommend the use of Auto Exposure Bracketing combined with our HDR software. This will take 3 images automatically for each scene in different exposures using the AEB facility on your camera. The HDR software will then automatically merge these 3 images into one final image with the best possible dynamic range.

You will never have to worry about what exposure you should use when taking the photo's and are guaranteed the best results !

- ---Press "MENU". Make sure the “Safety Shift” is set to “Off” Press "MENU" again.
- ---Press "FUNC". Then use Omni Selector to scroll down to the third icon: Set AEB (Auto Exposure Bracket) to On by selecting the logo with three images (centre choice). Press the Set button and then using the arrows select the -2 to +2 option. Press Set. Press "FUNC" again.
